LEGAL MANAGER

Legal & Compliance

Responsibility:

1/ Contract & Legal Documentation

  • Lead and oversee the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of contracts, agreements, and other key legal documents to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Supervise and approve internal legal documents/forms across departments.
  • Manage and provide strategic guidance on applications, renewals, and amendments to competent authorities (e.g., intellectual property registrations, business licenses, ERC/IRC).
  • Establish and maintain contract management systems to optimize efficiency and minimize legal exposure.

2/ Legal Advisory & Compliance

  • Monitor and interpret changes in Vietnam laws and relevant international regulations that may affect the Company’s business operations.
  • Provide timely, strategic legal advice and risk assessment on matters including corporate governance, investment, commercial, labor, advertising, and intellectual property.
  • Develop and implement internal compliance programs, policies, and training sessions to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
  • Serve as key contact for external counsel and regulatory authorities when necessary.

3/ Information Security & Risk Management

  • Oversee and enhance the implementation of the Information Security Management (ISM) framework for staff, suppliers, and clients.
  • Design and deliver training on ISM and compliance processes to senior management and relevant teams.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage legal and compliance risks, ensuring business continuity and regulatory alignment.

4/ Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor the legal team, providing guidance, supervision, and performance development.
  • Deliver training sessions on legal knowledge and compliance practices to management and employees.
  • Foster a culture of compliance, integrity, and ethical business conduct across the organization.
  • Coordinate with management and other departments to align legal strategies with business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of legal experience, with at least 2 years in managerial or senior counsel roles.
  • Strong expertise in contract management, corporate governance, and intellectual property.
  • Solid knowledge of Vietnamese laws and familiarity with international business practices.
  • Proven ability to provide strategic legal advice and manage complex transactions.
  • Demonstrated leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Language skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and professional independence.
  • Strong business acumen with a results-oriented, proactive, and problem-solving mindset
